The exhibition provides insights into crafts, customs and social life in Val Müstair in the past. It also builds a bridge across the border to Taufers in Münstertal and beyond to the Silk Road in Pakistan. The photographs by Martin Fliri Dane (Taufers i.M.) from the Hunza Valley, which show the country and its people, reflect moments from the stories of Val Müstair and thus create connections through time and space. In the imaginary journey, compiled from the extensive photo archive of Gian Battista Gross, we travel in parallel through Val Müstair in the time of the narrators.
